Dr. Patel grew up in a town in Florida similar in size to Hilton Head. They had a family physician who knew them and on occasion, even made house calls. If they needed him, they could always call or stop in for an evaluation. Dr. Patel's father was an engineer and Dr. Patel was always eager to help him fix things. These two childhood experiences instilled in him a desire to become a physician himself one day.

After completing residency, Dr. Patel moved with his wife to Hilton Head. Both their children were born there, and they have planted their roots in the community. The natural beauty of the Low Country combined with the hospitality of the South is why he and his family will always call this place home. As the area has continued to grow, the need for access to quality healthcare has also increased. Having been a Family Medicine physician in a large, busy practice for over 15 years, Dr. Patel saw first-hand the difficulty in getting patients the care they needed when they needed it. He transitioned to a concierge model to improve upon the patient-physician relationship. Mobile Concierge Care was born out of the desire to deliver concierge-level wellness and sick care without the waiting rooms or required membership. Both residents and vacationers will have access to superior care in the comfort of their own home, hotel, or vacation villa. It's modern medicine that meets patients where they are and when they need it.
